Sometimes things fail and you need to find out what has gone wrong, there are a number of different section that DSYNC provide that allow you to work out what has gone wrong. This Guide will go over how to access them.
Each sync is recorded and stored for up to 60 days, a list of the last 10 syncs is provided at the bottom of the job details panel. The jobs details panel can be access by selecting the middle of the link indicated by a tick icon and will show on the right side of the DSYNC dashboard.
You will see three different sync indicators,
Skipped indicates that a scheduled sync has taken place and no data was available to be synced.
On the right side of the sync indicator there is an option call "More" selecting this you will be presented with a list of options, for Failed syncs the following will appear.
- Download Source Data
- Relation History
Selecting Download Source Data will download the data collected from the endpoint. If you have no option to download the source data then you may have an issue with connecting to the source endpoint.
Selecting Logs will give you details on the sync including an error message.
Selecting Relation History will provide you with a detailed log list where you can,
- Download Source Data
- Download Output Data
- And view transaction history of the API call
Selecting Rerun will reprocess the source data, if you have fixed the issue that caused the failure then the sync will continue to return a Failed status.
At the bottom of the history list you will see a link called "Show more..." this will provide you with the detailed log list for the job.
The URL for the detailed logs contains the job ID that is used to access the debugging screen.
DSYNC also provides a Debugging page that you can access. You must be logged into the DSYNC dashboard to gain access to the debugging page.

You will need to replace the xxxxx part of the URL with the Job ID, you can get this from selecting the job by clicking the tick in the middle of the link and then selecting Show more. You will be shown a detailed log list, the URL of this list will contain the Job ID at the end.
The Job ID is the xxxxx part of the URL.
