Over the weekend we had a ton of new products added/edited, including all of the skus for current products being updated, so it ended up adding over 300+ new, unfinished products to the site! Is there a way we could add an option in their Revel that just says "import to website" or "update on website" so that we don't end up getting a ton of random products added constantly? That way they have the choice to change add/change the products in the website or not? They seem to change their products a LOT and I just want to make sure we can keep the website products looking clean even when they go through their mass updating spree.
Also, just a quick question on the products. If one of the products sell on the website, will it update the reports in Revel to show a sale as long as it has the same sku? That's the main reason they want to have these linked.
The current logic is to sync with all products.
I just changed the logic to sync through only products with display_online set to true.
You can specify if you want to sync with a certain product by doing this.
If you set the "display on online" field to true on the product then it will sync through. Or else the sync will just fail.
2) The sales will appear in Revel as the Order is appearing in Revel as well.
So you should see it in Product mix report. The all the synced orders in order history page.
