How does DSYNC handle discount pricing integration (wholesale)
How does discount and tiered pricing work with cloud integration? DSYNC can sync discount pricing however in many cases depends on plugins or extensions installed on both sides of the systems you are trying to connect. DSYNC can push and pull discount pricing values from one system to another however in many cases wholesale pricing does not come out of the box for systems. If systems do not have tiered pricing or discount levels then it is common to add an extension or a plugin onto the system. DSYNC can still synchronize discounted pricing between systems however the team may need to scope the plugin or extension you have installed to check if it plays nicely with the systems API and the other systems discount levels. Usually discount pricing is listed under the customer endpoint and that is a common endpoint pushed and pulled by DSYNC. Some developers add a custom field on one side under the customer endpoint.
Integration of dynamic pricing across B to B and B to C systems can be done, however will be dependent on the system and add on plugins selected.
Integrate tiered pricing is a common request for B to B businesses that are wishing to sell online. DSYNC can integrate tiered pricing based on the customer field however will depend on the systems API and fields we can sync data to and from. Many sales channel systems handle the discount at a customer level upon logging in. For example when a customer logs into WooCommerce or Magento there are plugins that link the customer value to the appropriate discount level or percentage. If you are synchronizing Orders from your web-store to your accounting or inventory platform the customer data can be captured and pushed. Many customers also ask our team for bidirectional discount levels for example the discount levels may be set in the inventory, CRM or ERP and then the discount level will need to be reflected in the web system. This can be done however we will need to check on the plugin or extensions used to apply the discount at the eCommerce level.
