How does Unleashed work with Magento and Shopify inventory and product variables?
Inventory levels are based on actual physical products (simple products in Magento, Variants in Shopify). Unleashed does not need to know about configurable products and only deals with simple (physical) products inventory levels. So the first connection we make is inventory levels to synchronize Unleashed products with Magento simple products with Shopify variants
Products (name, description, sku, etc) can then be simple and configurable in Magento/Shopify. Unleashed doesn’t need to know about configurable products as these are not physical products which are part of the order. Shopify is their master for products (create product in Shopify) – based on this we will have a connection with Magento to publish these products online and make them purchasable. Shopify ‘Product’ will be matched to Magento ‘Configurable Product’ and Shopify ‘Variant’ will be matched to Magento ‘Simple Product’.
What happens if an item on the order has a stock count of 0? Will this affect the sync? The item can't be ordered in Shopify then.
Orders seem to be importing into unleashed as either “parked” or “placed”. What determines this status? This can be set in DSYNC as an example fulfilled orders from Shopify into PARKED order.
