Product Inventory Upload via FTP, RSS or eMail automation
There are many circumstances where wholesalers, retailers and drop shippers may wish to synchronize their inventory and product feeds with their eCommerce website, CRM, warehouse management system or one of their sales systems. Examples of customer, product and order data via FTP, RSS / email include:
- Daily inventory updates: via batch communicating with an FTP for various price, product, quantity adjustments. Example wholesalers communicating with re-sellers of product changes including out of stock updates. Many wholesalers simply file a CSV or a spreadsheet on the FTP server for re-seller access. DSYNC can be used in this circumstance to check at required intervals for changes and update inventory and eCommerce sites accordingly of any adjustments. If you would like to integrate a CSV file, we can map any fields you like, but it is an entirely custom job.
- Transactional updates: Many commerce sellers utilize third party fulfillment operators to store, pick and pack goods. In this circumstance DSYNC can be used to link the sales channel (eCommerce website) to the 3PL or third party logistics center to facilitate the pick, pack and delivery process.
- Tracking and Status data: Typically sent in XML or JSON format from the provider back to the seller’s commerce site or CRM to update the end customer on the shipment status.
