Revel Integration FAQs
How long does the integration usually take? The main part that slows down the integration process is incomplete set up forms. We are averaging 2-3 days per integration however please note there may be a few in the queue ahead of your install. For specifics on your Revel point of sale integration please refer to our help section for the individual connector. DSYNC are Revel integration partners and offer the service globally.
Is DSYNC an official Revel partner? Yes
What is the process of set up? DSYNC offer a paid install package to get Revel customers started. The DSYNC platform is flexible and can be used by your developer to integrate complex data.
Where do I get my Revel API keys and secret from? You will need to talk to your Revel representative to activate their system called partner connect. After you have talked to your Revel rep they will issue the keys.
I'm setting up my first link, between Revel POS. I'm adding Revel using the Wizard, and I already have to enter info which is not intuitive. What is the "API Key" I have I have to add? And the "API Secret"? Isn't the Wizard supposed to know this for supported systems? Each user key and secret is different and unique to the Revel user. Please contact your Revel rep to activate the keys and secret.
Are most Revel Point of sale integrations two way with DSYNC? Yes, most of our Revel point of sale connectors provide bidirectional capability. Two way connectivity is useful for synchronizing products and retrieving orders from website applications.
Can DSYNC help with custom data reporting from Revel Point of sale? Yes, DSYNC can provide custom reports from the Revel API and provide consolidation with data sources from other applications. Please see the Revel Data reporting FAQs for more information.
Does DSYNC provide Mall or shopping center integrations for Revel Point of sale? Yes, we help to integrate daily sales reporting for compliance into the mall operators. Some FTP and file requirements may exist.
Is DSYNC available globally to help with Revel integrations? Yes, DSYNC currently works with clients globally and has deployments in Asia, US, Europe and Australia. Some accounting packages have differences in their payroll APIs however most data synchronizations are compatible worldwide.
I am seeing an error called "429 TOO MANY REQUESTS` response"? Revel has daily API limits set for each account. This means you have exceeded your daily amount. You can reduce the amount of calls made within the DSYNC scheduler. The DSYNC scheduler is where you can set how often you would like your systems to communicate / send jobs to one another.
What are some of the common shopping carts Revel can communicate with? DSYNC have now performed many integrations for Revel point of sale including WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify, Bigcommerce and some versions of Opencart.
