Welcome to a quick demonstration showcasing how to create a link or a relation between two systems.
Linking your systems is the third step in the DSYNC integration process. Within this step you are indicating what data layout from one system should be connected to your second system.
First you must have more than one system loaded in your DSYNC dashboard
1) Click on the first data field you would like to synchronize – for this example lets click on “Customer”.
2) Then on the right panel click on “Create Relation / Create LINK”
3) Then click on the second data field you would like to connect – In this case lets click on “Customers” as we are synchronizing contacts and customers.
A pop up box will appear asking you to name your job. You can name your job anything however it is always handy to standardize your naming conventions. For example if you are syncing customer data probably a good idea to have a standard format such as "System" Customer to "System" Contacts.
You have now created a link or a relation between the two systems for the customer attribute.
The next step is to map these attributes
Please proceed to the mapping section and thanks for watching.
