One of the common troubleshooting errors we see when users are trying to synchronize their Woocommerce system is the incorrect “Read Write” settings on the customers WooCommerce site.
If your WooCommerce system is not synchronizing properly it may not be authorized correctly to talk to DSYNC.
One of the first steps you should take is to check that the KEY you created in Woocommerce has been set to Read and Write.
This quick video shows you how to set the key up properly to communicate with DSYNC
Let’s go into your Wordpress site and select Woocommerce
- Then Select “Settings” field
- Select the “API” Icon
- Select “KEYS and APPS”
- When creating a new key you will select “ADD key”
- You can name your key any description you wish however you must add “READ WRITE” in the permissions.
After selecting generate keys – These are the two keys to be copied and pasted into your DSYNC dashboard.
For DSYNC to communicate with your WooCommerce site it will need to have these permissions associated with the keys to ensure we can communicate with your site.
