Hello and welcome to DSYNC. After logging onto your DSYNC dashboard there are 5 key steps for integrating your systems together. At any stage if you get stuck please refer to our help center or let our team know how we can help out.
These 5 key steps and extra videos to help you are all documented in the help center
The five key steps include:
- One - add your first system
- Two - add your second system
- Three – Create a link or a relation between the systems
- Four – Map the systems by using the Mapping templates
- Five – Activate your data sync
None of the steps require coding or development, just configuration.

Now let’s go into a bit more detail on the 5 key steps, remember if you get stuck each step is documented within our help section and we are more than happy to help.
1) Step One – Add your first system
The first time you visit your dashboard a pop up box will appear asking to “create a new system” Proceed to follow the steps to authorize and add your first system to your DSYNC dashboard. If the pop up box does not appear or you would like to force a new system to be add the key step is to select the icon in the top right called PLUS system.
2) Step Two – Add your second system
After you have added your first system lets add the next system you would like integrated into your network. To add your second system simply follow the wizard or click on the PLUS system icon in the top right hand section.
Now that you have two systems added to your dashboard it is time to move to step 3
3) Step Three - Create a link or a relation between the systems
In this step we are telling Your first system what data field should correspond to the other field in the second system. An easy example to try is Customer to Customer.
Here is how you create a link between the systems
Click on one of the first systems data fields – For example “customer”
Click on “Create a Relation” located on the right of your dashboard
Click on the second systems data field – For example “customer”
A popup box will appear asking you to name your link
4) Step Four – Map the systems by using the Mapping templates
Because DSYNC is extremely flexible with data synchronization mapping can be complex. To help our customer base we have created commonly used mapping templates between systems.
Templates can be used to automatically map systems however many systems have unique customizations for this reason users can edit and amend the mapping fields within the dashboard.
New maps can always be created or amended by clicking on the lines between your systems then selecting add or edit on the right panel.
5) Step Five is the fun part – It is time to activate your data sync and test your integration.
To activate the data sync you have just set up simply click on the link between the systems and select the Activate circle located in the top right of your dashboard.
