To create product in BC from Revel, the first step is to review the BC documentation here: https://developer.bigcommerce.com/api/v2/#create-a-product. The minimum required fields are: name, price, categories, type, availability, and weight.
The categories could be mapped in our engine with the ‘Value Transform’ function. Matching of categories from Revel to BC done by client internally and then uploaded as a CSV into that function.
Revel connector in DSYNC is a cron connector (Scheduler) so the product endpoint which is connected to BC endpoint must have the schedule configured. That’s the only requirement there. DSYNC requests new/updated products from Revel by the configured schedule and pushes to BC accordingly. There should be a shared key set on the BC products endpoint – DSYNC suggest using the SKU.
