How hard is the Revel POS integration with Xero to install? The DSYNC platform requires no programming however does require a medium technical level to set up the mapping section. DSYNC offers a complimentary set up and mapping service for clients who would like the Revel/Xero integration set up. To initiate the setup, we will require a client install form that provides all the key information for setup.
Will Xero accounting be updated if I make a change in Revel POS to customer details? Yes

Can my developer install for me? Yes, we also work hand in hand with the developer to establish the setup. If you do not have a developer DSYNC can help with complimentary setup by completing the installation agreements.
Can DSYNC set the connector up for me? Yes, we offer a complimentary set up service for clients looking to integrate Shopify and Revel. We will require clients to complete two forms
- DSYNC client integration form – This form provides API details for the integration
- Revel client access form – This form allows DSYNC access to the Revel API on client’s behalf
How long does it take to install the Revel /Xero connector? Setup can take less than an hour and will depend on the queue of integrations. We communicate with the client on preferred go live dates and times.
How does support work? To provide support globally we have assigned representatives in New York, San Francisco and Sydney Australia. How hard is the connector to install? The connector can be installed with no programming efforts. The skillset required for our mapping engine is medium technical. Revel will still need you to complete a client access form to obtain your secret API key and API URL. DSYNC can provide you a copy of the Client access form.
How much does the connector cost? Our starter plan for Revel / Xero connector starts at $25 usd per month and allows up to 2.5 GBs of data. The next plan is $100 per month and allows up to 10 GBs of data. With our Junior plan, your monthly data allowance is 2.5GB (Gigabytes) which translates to roughly 2,621 files (JSON, CSV, Excel, etc). The junior plan is perfect for smaller cafes, breweries. How do I know how much data I am using? Within the DSYNC dashboard there is a data counter that shows your daily and monthly usage. This feature is available via your free trial.
Can I integrate other systems as well as Revel and Xero? Yes we offer unlimited connections within the platform our cost structure is based on data used.
What is the Revel Client access form? As part of Revels data compliance any systems that integrate with Revels API’s require the client to sign the Client Access form. This form is required for data governance. The DSYNC team can provide a copy of the Revel access form by emailing Revel@Dsync.com
We have some sales that are not through Revel, but are incorporated in Xero. Will syncing sales data from Revel affect non Revel sales in Xero? No, the non-Revel sales would not be impacted.
Does the sync happen in real-time in the background, or do you set times to sync data? We schedule times for the systems to talk - It can be as low as 1 minute / hour / daily / - however our pricing is data driven so most of our Revel clients set either a few time s a day or have an end of day sync.
Do you have to have matching data sets already in both systems? For example inventory, do we have to have it set up in Xero as per Revel first? If it already exists in one system it will be updated, or if it doesn’t exist it will be created when it goes through.
Can you choose which elements to sync, i.e. inventory, suppliers and sales, but not customer data for example? Yes, we can map individually, as a group, or not at all.
