How does the batch splitter work? And what does it do?
The batch splitter can be used to split arrays of source data including stock and product lists. DSYNC will initiate a call to the source system, the source system will send information to DSYNC. Then if enabled the batch splitter will split the source data based on the configuration. DSYNC will then map the data to the source data layout. If you use the batch splitter you can nominate what endpoint will hold the array of data example “Array of products”. When you enable the batch splitter you are presented with a Tree key field, this is the TOP level field used to nominate where the array is held. We have some comprehensive videos describing how to organize and structure children, parent and object fields for your data layouts.
