Mapping engine is part of the connection/link between your source and destination endpoints and as such is accessible via the connecting line between them. More precisely, it’s the part of the link which runs from the middle check icon to the destination.
There are two different types of connections you can make in DSYNC. These are bi-directional synchronization and one-way data transfer.
To access mapping engine of bi-directional synchronization job, double-click the part of a connection which is closer to the slave (destination) endpoint. The little square identifies the master endpoint for a connection.
Oneway transfer connection shows you the direction of data flow. Data flows in the direction of arrows along the connecting line.
To access mapping engine, double-click the part of the connection which runs from the middle part (check icon) to the destination endpoint.
Alternatively, you can also click the same part of the connection to select it, then in the right sidebar under ‘MAP’ section select the action you wish to perform – create a new map, edit existing map, select a pre-defined map, or import a map template into the mapping template library.
